Biography

Wilson Onuigbo, a Nigerian Scientist, obtained MD from Glasgow University and Ph.D. from London University. His first paper appeared in the British Journal of Cancer as a Medical Student in 1957. By 1962, he demonstrated what is now called lymphangiogenesis. Following a flurry of papers, his biography appeared in the World Who’s Who in Science published in 1968 in the USA. By 1974, he became the world’s discoverer of the adult human living worm called Paragonimus uterobilateralis. Recently, he has hypothesized that there is an “Erythrocyte Associated Necrosis Factor (EANF)” whose identification in Translational Laboratory should become a targeted therapy for the cancer cure, provided that pharmaceutical genius materialized! He has his country’s National Order of Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON). I was awarded the special Fellowship ad euden of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. I am also a Member, International Order of Merit, Cambridge.
